Adeso’s mapping software represents the evolution of ticket sales technology and provides an exceptional investment opportunity. Specifically tailored for the online ticket sales industry, the software is designed to increase sales by enhancing the user experience to make the ticket-buying process more expedient and more efficient. It capitalizes on current applications and takes online ticket-buying to the next level.
While many online ticket sales sites employ the use of maps to illustrate venue and seating arrangements, current programming is static, sometimes complicated, slow-moving and inefficient in driving the user from inquiry to sales. Adeso’s software provides an overall interactive interface, using real-time data, which streamlines the user experience and moves buyers directly to purchasing options more quickly and easily than the technology currently used by online ticket sales sites.
The software is user-friendly, administrator-friendly and system-friendly; it requires very little supervision and maintenance and may be used with existing programming.
The ROI opportunities stem primarily from a monthly licensing fee for the program and ongoing percentage points from each client-broker who purchases the program. Additionally, initial investors who install the software on their sites would have a competitive edge over other online ticket sales agencies. ROI projections are more specifically outlined in a subsequent section of this document.
Adeso estimates it will take approximately 60 days to develop the initial software infrastructure and prototype that will serve as the platform for the development of all venue maps currently being used online. Once developed, Adeso’s mapping technology can ultimately be used by all online ticket services for all events.
Due to the competitive nature and accelerated speed of technology development in today’s marketplace, it is essential to take advantage of this opportunity as soon as possible.
SOFTWARE OVERVIEW
Accompanying this proposal is an interactive demonstration of the software’s operation. However, the following narrative may also be helpful in illustrating its dynamics and advantages over current systems.
Let’s say a user wants to purchase tickets for a U2 concert, and has already moved to the area of a site where the map of the venue is displayed. We have selected the United Center for our example, but the technology is designed to work with any venue map that is currently the industry standard. When a user mouses over to a particular section of the map, the seat section is highlighted and a popup box displays the section, row, price and number of total seats available (e.g., Section 121, Rows 11-19, $460-$720, 26 seats available). When the user clicks on the desired seat area, an additional text box appears beside the map, showing the ticket details, quantity, and a “buy “now” option.
This feature, which allows the user to immediately purchase the quantity of tickets selected, is the key point that creates a significant advantage over other sites because other sites require the user to move back and forth between the map screen, the tickets availability screen and the purchase options – making it highly likely to frustrate the user and lose his interest.
Once a user selects the quantity, he is able to “buy now” and is automatically moved to the purchase order screen where the price and quantity of tickets are confirmed and the user can instantly purchase the tickets.
The Adeso mapping software also automatically “dims out” sold-out sections, so the user does not waste time. If a buyer mouses over a dimmed-out section, the popup textbox will read “no tickets available in this section.” If the desired seats are sold out, the user may also move easily to a “new event date” option and continue the search.
To further expedite buyer assistance and ticket purchasing, the Adeso software can also create a list of options on the map page that provides seating categories (e.g., “Premier Seats,” “Good Seats”). If a buyer clicks on one of these options, the map will automatically highlight the appropriate map section, and the user may proceed to view and buy seats as outlined above.
The Adeso software interfaces with real-time ticket feeds, and the site’s existing software. In addition, the program can interface with credit card transactions and fulfillment (shipping) operations.
