Did You Know
The '''St. Louis Rams''' are a professional American football team based in St. Louis, Missouri. They are currently members of the Western Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The team has won three NFL Championships, including one Super Bowl.
The Rams began playing in 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio. The NFL considers the franchise as a second incarnation of the previous '''Cleveland Rams''' team that was a charter member of the second American Football League. Although the NFL granted membership to the same owner, the NFL considers it a separate entity since only four of the players (William "Bud" Cooper, Harry "The Horse" Mattos, Stan Pincura, and Mike Sebastian) and none of the team's management joined the new NFL team.
The team then became known as the '''Los Angeles Rams''' after the club moved to Los Angeles, California in 1946. Following the 1979 season, the Rams moved south to the suburbs in nearby Orange County, playing their home games at Anaheim Stadium in Anaheim for fifteen seasons (1980–94), keeping the Los Angeles name. The club moved east to St. Louis prior to the 1995 season.[. ''Official Website of the St. Louis Rams''. Retrieved 13 September 2006]

Based in St. Louis, Missouri; the St. Louis Rams play in the NFC West. The franchise was founded in 1936 and was originally known as the Cleveland Rams. The Rams achieved their first milestone in 1945, they swept away the Washington Redskins to capture their first ever NFL Championship.
The Rams moved to Los Angeles in 1946 and won their first NFL championship as Los Angeles Rams in 1951. The Rams enjoyed mixed success throughout their pay in the league. During the decade of 1970’s the Rams made to the playoffs almost every year, beginning from 1973 the Rams won the division title for seven years in a row but could manage Super Bowl appearance only once in 1979 in which they lost to the eventual Super Bowl XIV winners, the Steelers. The Rams moved to St. Louis in 1995. The first few seasons at St. Louis were not successful for the Rams. The Rams finally bounced back into the game in 1999; they won the division title and also swept away the Buccaneers in Conference Championship game to advance to the Super Bowl XXXIV. The Rams easily defeated the Titans in NFL championship game by 23-16. Since then the Rams have not won any Super Bowl but over the years they have remained a regular and tough contender at the playoffs.
